LG and Qualcomm showed off the flagship LG Optimus G Android smartphone at a press event this morning, following yesterday's global unveiling.
The Optimus G is hugely important for LG, which needs to re-establish itself as a top-tier player in the Android space. LG and Qualcomm have a 16-year partnership, and together were the first to introduce a CDMA phone and a broadcast mobile TV phone, as executives at the event were quick to point out.

LG Optimus G is a premium smartphon. The phone has a 4.7" True 720p HD-IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen.The phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, powered by 1.5Ghz quad core processor with 2GB RAM.The phone has 13MP primary camera with Full HD video recording and 1.3MP secondary camera. LG Optimus G has a 2100 mAH battery that provides up to 10 hours talk time

LG Optimus G is a high end smartphone for premium customers. The phone runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich. The phone maybe available in India through select networks in 4th Quarter of 2012.
