Huawei Ascend W1 Windows Phone 8 handset is going to launch on 25th september

We’ve been hearing about Huawei’s Windows Phone 8 plans for quite some time and more recently a device believed to be the Ascend W1 is rumored to show up alongside a higher-end W2. So far the Windows Phone 8 game has players from Samsung, Nokia and HTC, in the order of OEMs unveiling their upcoming devices.

Huawei’s Chairman of Devices, Richard Yu, took it to the Chinese social network Weibo, and told us about the upcoming W1; new details unveil the fact that the W1, according to sources inside the company, will land towards the end of the year, between November and December. It will cost around 2,000 RMB ($320) and will be available in black, blue, pink and white flavors.

The Huawei Ascend  P1 Android phone packs a 4.3in, 256ppi Super AMOLED screen, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and an 8MP camera, so we'd expect to see the Ascend W1 at least equal those specs.

Huawei Ascend W1 Windows Phone 8 specifications : No details about the specifications of the Ascend W1 are known but we can expect it to have a dual core processor, support for NFC along with microSD card support.
