Celkon Celtab (CT2) Launches with SIM Card
Hyderabad-based tech products manufacturer Celkon
has launched a new low-cost tablet for the Indian students dubbed as
Celtab (CT2), which is priced at Rs 7,499. Interestingly, the Celtab CT2
has a SIM card slot for voice calling.
Celkon got huge appreciation for CT1 and currently have orders for
50,000 units from market for CT1 and CT2. The product will be available
in two days," Celkon Mobiles Managing Director Y Guru told reporters.

Display: Celtab houses a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 5 point multi-touch with 800 x 480 pixel resolution.
Processor: The Tablet is packed with a 1GHz processor under its hood.
OS: As most of the low cost tablets in the country, Celkon Celtab CT2 is flavored with the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
Memory: The Celtab CT2 has 4GB internal memory, 512MB RAM and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional memory.
Camera: Being a low cost device, the tablet has a front facing VGA camera and lacks a rear camera.
Connectivity:
It comes with connectivity features including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11
b/g/n and 3G through dongle. The tablet comes with a SIM card slot as
well.
Battery: Celtab CT2 is loaded with a mammoth 3,000 mAh Li-ion battery as compared to the batteries in low cost tablets.

Celkon
Celtab CT2 – the SIM based tablet is preloaded with many applications
and games. It comes with features including Live TV, G-Sensor and Opera mini browser.
