Dell launches multiple Windows 8 devices in India :

In the era of smart devices claiming to make life easier, Dell launched its new range of tablets, laptops and all-in-ones to race ahead in the highly-competitive market. Dell unveiled the XPS 12 convertible, Latitude 10 tablet, Latitude 6430u Ultrabook OptiPlex 9010 All-in-One PC with touch and the S2340T Windows 8 multi-touch monitor yesterday.

Dell had a fairly busy day with a series of launches ushered through the door. These new devices are optimized for Windows 8 and are aimed at the business users. The company launched its new range of products, including a new series of laptops. It launched a 14-inch Ultrabook Latitude, priced at Rs 69,990 and the all-in-one Dell OptiPlex priced at Rs 49,990 apart from new tablets, the Latitude 10 for Rs 42,490 and XPS 12 convertible, a combination of laptop and tablet for Rs 90,490.

• OptiPlex 9010 All-In-One available from Nov 10th at a starting price of Rs. 49,990/- +taxes
• Latitude 6430u Ultrabook – available mid Nov at a starting price of Rs. Rs 69,990/- +taxes
• Latitude 10 tablet – available Nov end at a starting price of Rs. Rs 42,490/- +taxes
• S2340T multi-touch monitor – available early 2013 – price not announced yet.
