Asus Unveils Vivo Windows 8 Tablets Price Image and Specifications

The Asus Vivo Tab, formerly the Tablet 810, features an 11.6-inch IPS+ display with 1366 by 768 resolution. The capacitive touch display offers both 10-point multitouch, and also uses Wacom digitizer technology with a stylus for handwriting and drawing.

Measuring only 0.34-inch thick and weighing 1.48 pounds, the Vivo Tab is thin and light. With the same SonicMaster audio heard in the Asus Zenbook UX32VD, sound quality should be better than the average tablet. The Vivo Tab is also outfitted with both front- and rear-facing cameras, with a 2 megapixel camera for video chatting, and an 8 megapixel camera equipped with autofocus and LED flash for snapping photos and shooting video. A built-in near-field communication (NFC) sensor enables easy syncing to other NFC-enabled devices.

The Asus Vivo Tab is equipped with an upcoming Intel Atom processor, paired with 2GB of RAM. Storage is provided by a 64GB embedded memory card. The docking keyboard provides both a full size chiclet keyboard and trackpad, along with two full size USB ports and a secondary battery.
