Samsung has unveiled the second generation of its Series 9 notebook in the Indian market. Touted as the world's thinnest laptop, the new series 9 device comes with a hefty price tag of Rs. 1.2 lakhs.

With only 12.9mm thickens and 1.16kg weight, the super-slim laptop takes away the'thinnest laptop' crown from Toshiba Protege Z830. According to Samsung, the Series 9 required 9,000 hours of design work and 24,000 hours of R&D.

The latest series of laptops is powered by an Intel Core i7 3517U CPU running at 1.9GHz with 4MB of L3 cache and 4GB or DDR3 RAM.
